The Matriarch Snowboard 2027

The Matriarch is a board unlike anything else in the CAPiTA range — a directional cambered freeride snowboard shaped by the mind of Torstein Horgmo that bridges the gap between park freestyle and backcountry riding. It is designed for riders who approach the mountain creatively, seeing natural features, backcountry transitions, and powder zones as a canvas to draw lines through. The Matriarch invites you to ride with purpose, power, and imagination.

The Alpine V4 Profile features higher traditional camber through the midsection with smooth, low tip and tail heights — slightly elevated contact points and big-radius tip shapes allow the board to flex like a freestyle machine and float like a powder board in softer conditions. The new Transcend Core is enhanced with full-length Bamboo Power Beams for maximum power and response, while Fairmat carbon amplifiers — woven directly into the HolySheet fibreglass — reduce weight and increase precision across the whole board. Available in 158cm. Best suited to advanced-to-expert riders equally comfortable in the park and in the backcountry.
