Orca II Snowboard 2027
Beschrijving
The Lib Tech Orca II is Travis Rice’s apex resort and freeride weapon — a directional all-mountain board that blends Travis’ Natural Selection Tour-winning instincts with Lib Tech’s most progressive construction technologies. The 2026/27 edition introduces two significant material updates. The core now uses Makah Hemlock — a sustainably harvested wood sourced from the Makah tribe who reside near Lib Tech’s Mervin Manufacturing factory in Washington State. Hemlock is strong, poppy and naturally suited to high-performance snowboard construction. The topsheet transitions to Ocean-bound PBT — an eco-sublimated material made from recycled PET plastic collected from coastal areas before it enters the ocean. A portion of every Orca II sold is donated to the Orca Conservancy (orcaconservancy.org) in support of the endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales of the Salish Sea.
The contour is Directional C2X: rocker in the nose for float and easy turn initiation, followed by Lib Tech’s C2 camber/rocker/camber through the body for edge hold, pop and power underfoot, then a tight-radius ‘Whale Tail Technology’ tail that maximises contact and creates a short, precise turning radius. The tight 7m sidecut trenches deep carves at resort speeds. VOLUME SHIFTED — ride this board 3–6cm shorter than your normal board.
Rocker Profile: Multi Camber
