Mayhem Rocket Snowboard 2027
Beschrijving
The Lib Tech Mayhem Rocket is the result of surf shaper Matt Biolos bringing his precision knowledge of hydrodynamics and progressive hull design to the snowboard world. A collaboration between Lib Tech and the Lib x Mayhem surf programme, the Rocket is a directional all-mountain board built around Early Rise Directional Camber — a progressive contour that combines an easy-initiating, extra-floaty early rise nose with a set-back power camber through the body of the board. The nose rises naturally to float over powder and variable snow without effort, while the camber behind the front foot delivers hardpack carving power and explosive edge grip.
The shape features a progressive elliptical sidecut designed by Biolos, which carves deep, committed trenches through firm snow without the predictability of a standard radius. It’s a mid-wide shape — wide enough to provide genuine planing surface in powder and allow powerful power turns without toe drag, yet narrow enough to stay agile and responsive. A firm-flexing sustainable Aspen/Paulownia core and rugged sintered base are built for all-season use across all terrain.

Our Testers Say: "A more powerful take on the Sweetfish formula. It keeps the surf-inspired back-foot steering and slashy personality but adds extra stiffness and carving performance, creating a board that feels both playful and more composed when ridden aggressively." "The Rocket is wide and confidence-inspiring, blending a surfy feel with real strength and response. It floats over slush and chopped-up snow impressively well, staying composed where other boards get bounced around. Push it and there's plenty of backbone there too. A great choice if you want that loose, surfy feel without giving up performance." At Snowtrax, we try to test every ski and snowboard on the mountain before it hits our shelves, so we know it lives up to the hype. This hands-on testing across different riding styles and terrain gives our staff real expertise, letting them recommend gear based on what a customer actually needs, not just a catalogue rundown. |
