Helicon Lite Adjustable Ski Poles

The Leki Helicon Lite has earned a devoted following among backcountry and ski touring skiers as the workhorse of the Leki touring range — a two-piece adjustable aluminium pole that delivers all the essential touring features at a highly accessible price point.

Adjustable from 110 to 145cm via the Speed Lock Plus lever, the Helicon Lite covers a wide range of heights and terrain types without the complexity or cost of carbon alternatives. The Evocon PAS grip has an extended foam lower section that runs down the shaft beneath the main handle, allowing the grip to be repositioned on steep ascents or traverses simply by sliding the hand lower rather than stopping to adjust pole length.

The Big Mountain Binding Basket serves double duty: a straight, hard plastic edge adjusts heel lifts on backcountry bindings, while the long edge removes ice and snow compacted into climbing skins. A carbide tip penetrates firm alpine snow and ice with authority.
